The hottest team in the SFL is the Vikings. Not only does it look like
they have a free ride into a playoff position with rumors stirring about the Giants forfieting their season. The Vikings
have an easy schedule ahead of them, they are competing to see who has the better offense with the Truth, and may have the
best defense in the league, competing with maybe the Aces in that category. The Vikings look unstoppable, and have a
free ride to an undefeated season until they get tested by probably the Truth, who they will see in the playoffs. Ricky
Sehl will make a run for his money when it comes to the BFP Award, and if Marcel Nadeau plays as well as he did against the
Truth and keeps the interceptions to a minimum, he should get the Best Quarterback Award with Sehl as his receiver.
The teams that look flat right now is obviously the Thunder and Giants with
the Thunder officially finished with their season, and the Giants spreading rumors about themselves forfieting their
season. The team that is continuing to play and is the weakest team as of now is the Longhorns. Nick Depuccio
just got off of winning the Longhorns' second championship in the SFL's second championship eligible season, and then forfiets
the first three games of the next season. With only a six game regular season now, and a team that's 2-0 and still playing
the rest of their season in their division, the Longhorns look like they will probably miss the playoffs this year to a Vipers
team who they could easily blow out. Depuccio must be hoping that he can win out, which should be easy to do with the
Vipers coming up next week, which is a very important game, and the Cowbears right after that and then the last game of the
regular season is already won against the Thunder. The Longhorns and Vipers will have to battle it out when the end
of the season comes, and the outcome may be determined by point differential. The Longhorns have a shot, but not much
of one.
