SFL Gameday Countdown

The Aces play in their first game this week against the Truth after winning the first two games by forfiet. Tyler Connolly matched up with Nick Alberino is what we're expecting to see, and we're expecting Alberino's physical play match up well with Connolly's speed and agility. But, in the first half, Connolly will prove that speed wins the match as he scores seven touchdowns in the first half, looking unbelieveable. The Truth go into the half up, 9-7. Matt Lafortune and Dave Pendergast take the game over themselves and each score for early rushing touchdowns to open the second half up, making the score 10-8. Then Connolly breaks back into his mode, and makes his case for being the BFP Award winner as he adds six more touchdowns to his total, almost tying the record. His performance helps the Truth come out big, but show that their defense needs some extra work.
